To book the venue a 50% of the venue fee deposit is required and a signed contract.
On the packages and Fingerprint packages a non-refundable R8000 deposit is payable.
No bookings will be made unless a signed contract has been received and the deposit has been paid.
Any estimate / quote sent to you needs to be accepted within 3 days where after the booking fee of R1000 needs to be paid.
We are happy to hold a provisional booking for your function for 14 days from date of booking, at a cost of R1000, payable upon holding request.
If a 50% deposit for venue rental or R8000 non-refundable deposit for package and Fingerprint packages, is not paid by the required date, “Stukkies & Stokkies” reserves the right to cancel the provisional booking without any notice to the “client”, forfeiting the R1000 admin fee.
No interest will be paid out to clients on money deposited, upon cancelation of the wedding by any party.
All changes in respect of the wedding must be made in writing by the client 21 days prior to the function.
The deposit paid for any wedding 20 days after booking and within 180 days prior to the function/ wedding date is non–refundable.
If a cancellation takes place within the period of 180 days prior to the wedding, all fees paid for the wedding will be retained and Stukkies & Stokkies can charge for any additional expenses that were incurred by Stukkies & Stokkies. All cancellations will be subject to the venue hire amount which will be paid from a 30 day account. Therefore please allow 30 days for your refund.
A 50% of the total bill is payable 180 days prior to your function. A grace period of 10 days will be allowed where after “Stukkies & Stokkies” accepts it as automatic cancellation of your wedding date. Fees thus paid will be non-refunded as per the 180 day cancellation period.
The outstanding amount of the venue hire, total food, beverage and extras bill must be settled 10 days before the function date.
The final appointment to finalize the function procedures, final checklists, final confirmation of the menu and bar requirements and final numbers, will take place NO later than 21 days prior to the wedding.


Our maximum capacity is 50 guests, we cannot allow more than 50 guests at any function. If additional guests arrive at the function or venue, penalties will apply and we reserve the right to deny entry.
All rates and venue hire are subject to an annual increase.
The quote is subject to availability.
Any received quotes need to be accepted within 3 days where after deposit fee will have to be paid. Couples wishing to avoid disappointment should confirm their bookings as soon as possible.
Your booking is only confirmed upon signed return of the “contract” and proof of payment. (Please forward proof of payment with your reference to
Proof of payment needs to state date of wedding and names of couple - e.g. 030119Ashley&David. No reference can cause confusion.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the price of certain items may be increased without prior notification.
The cut off time for any function or wedding is strictly 23h00.
Decor and set up of decor is not included in the venue price, unless you book a package.
No fireworks or sky lanterns are allowed.
No sparklers allowed – as pretty as they are, they make holes in table cloths, other peoples clothes and damage cutlery & glassware
All visits and viewings are by appointment only. Please make an appointment prior to your visit.
Absolutely no smoking is permitted in our lapa or buildings. As our guest, it is your responsibility to inform your visiting guests of this policy.
Children must be accompanied at all times.
You are welcome to bring your own alcohol, all alcohol must be served by a licensed caterer, bartender or bar tending service. If you are selling alcohol, an appropriate license must be obtained and presented to us.
We have a venue DJ available, but you are welcome to use your own DJ, as long as he/ she is registered with SAMPRA.
All rates and venue hire are subject to an annual increase.
Plated menus have an extra surcharge of R200 per table.
We work on a standard catering formula + 5 to determine quantities to prepare. If you are worried about guests dishing up too much, please let us know so that we can dish up for your guests. Suppliers need to come equipped with the all the necessary tools to complete their tasks. "Stukkies & Stokkies" will not be supplying: Extension cords, any power adaptors/two point plugs, scissors, steamers/irons, etc.
No pets will be allowed onto the “Stukkies & Stokkies” premises without prior written consent from "Stukkies & Stokkies".
No lanterns may be released into the sky.
No fireworks.
No staplers to be used for attaching any decorations to the walls or furniture.
Only bio-degardable confetti or dried flowers or petals is allowed. No plastic confetti on the tables.
Candles may not be placed directly on the linen. "Stukkies & Stokkies" reserves the right to remove candles if necessary. Candleholders should be wide enough to ensure no wax damage to the linen. Special cleaning is required to remove wax from linen and will be for your cost.
No permanent alterations are allowed. Any damage to "Stukkies & Stokkies" property including linen, beyond reasonable wear and tear will be charged for accordingly. Please be aware that red wine stains, rose petal stains & red lipstick stains on linen are extremely difficult to remove. Whilst we do our best to restore linen to its original state, replacement of permanently damaged linen will be for your cost.
"Stukkies & Stokkies" caters for a wide variety of additional items to be used for decorations.
This is not inclusive (except in the packages) and for the clients own cost.
All prices are inclusive of 14% VAT.
"Stukkies & Stokkies" retains the right to cancel any booking date whereby money’s paid, will be refunded to the “client”.
“Stukkies & Stokkies” contract is the only legal and binding contract and in case of conflicting information between “Stukkies & Stokkies” and the “client”, the contractual information in this contract will be held precedent.
All entertainers, photographers and videographers meals should be included in the guest numbers and will be billed accordingly.
A breakage fee of R1500 (one thousand five hundred) is payable and the refund will be paid according to breakages or theft within 10 days after the wedding date.
Annual price increases on all prices across the board will occur every 1 September of every year. Should you have been quoted prior to 1 September please note that all prices on any quoted Invoice prior to 1 September will be null and void.
